Aji Rojo Pepper

The name of this pepper is Aji Rojo. This pepper has an Andean origin. It is not very red. It is a chocolate brown in color. Sliced open it it has a deep burgundy red interior. This pepper has a little bite. There is a gentle warmth throughout with slight raisen and melon flavor. It would be a welcome addition to any salsa.
