Extremely hot, like the Habaneros. This small conical, slightly heart-shaped pepper ripens from purple to red. Fruits grow to about 1" on 4 ft plants. Supposedly once grown by the ancient Mayan's 1,000s of years ago, and the heat was said to be as painful as a human sacrifice. Flavor is extremely hot!
